Computer Classes

When?

This position is available from the beginning of September 2010. Preferred stay until the end of June 2011 (full school year), six months also considered.

Job Description

You will be the principal teacher for all classes in CENIT´s Vocational High School for girls. This will be the first year that computer classes are introduced at CENIT, so the girls' computer knowledge will be basic. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires lots of patience, enthusiasm and careful planning. Candidate must be computer literate and have an interest in teaching.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning a course of study appropriate to each level
  • Planning each class
  • Delivering classes of 40 minutes
  • Assessing the progress of the students
  • Setting and marking exams
  • Monitoring attendance
  • Maintaining discipline
  • Being an active member of the teaching staff (attending meetings, etc.)

Salary

This is a volunteer position without financial compensation.
